These adapters facilitate the input and output of stereo sound using RCA jacks to connect with the Phoenix audio connectors on an Extron Crosspoint Switch.
- Input (Blue PCB): Transfers audio from a device to your Extron Crosspoint.
- Output (Red PCB): Routes audio from your Extron Crosspoint to your TV, speakers, or amplifier.
Compatibility:
The adapters are designed to work seamlessly with the Extron Crosspoint Ultra HVA (up to 12 inputs) and Extron Crosspoint 300 series (up to 12 inputs). For the larger 16 and 32 input switchers, only one row can accommodate the adapters due to space constraints. Additionally, they are compatible with Extron RXI RGB Interfaces.
Please note that these adapters have a height of approximately 1″, and the spacing between the 5-pin jack and the bottom BNC ports may vary depending on the model. It is advisable to measure before purchasing if there is uncertainty.
Special Considerations:
Some Extron units have 10-pin connections on the back without space between the connectors. While the blue Extron-branded phoenix plugs fit without issues, non-branded ones may require sanding or cutting on the sides to fit. If you prefer not to modify the connector, consider using Extron-branded connectors or 10-pin connectors from brands like Molex.
