Extron Phoenix Audio Adapter Crosspoint 3.5mm Phono AUX TRS RGB PVM Connector

These adapters facilitate the input and output of stereo sound through 3.5mm phono headphone jacks, connecting to the phoenix audio connectors on an Extron Crosspoint Switch. Each unit undergoes manual crafting and testing.

Input (blue) = audio input from a device to your Extron Crosspoint.

Output (red) = audio output from your Extron Crosspoint to your TV/speakers/amp.

Compatibility:

The adapters are designed to work seamlessly with the Extron Crosspoint Ultra HVA (up to 12 inputs) and Extron Crosspoint 300 series (up to 12 inputs). However, for the larger 16 and 32-input switchers, the adapters can only occupy one row due to space constraints. They are also compatible with the Extron RXI RGB Interfaces.

Important Notes:

• Some Extron units have 10-pin connections on the back, with no space between the connectors. While the blue Extron-branded phoenix plugs fit well, other plugs may require sanding or cutting on the sides to fit. If you’re comfortable modifying the connector, the ones included will work. Otherwise, consider using Extron-branded connectors or 10-pin connectors from Molex.

• The PCBs are wired according to Extron specifications. For input, Audio + for right and left are distinct, while Audio – for left and right are all connected to ground. For output, Audio + for right and left are distinct, but Audio – for left and right are not grounded.
